Willie Nelson cancels concerts due to illness
Willie Nelson has postponed three concerts due to illness, raising concern for his health.
Nelson, 83, will miss the shows scheduled on Tuesday and Wednesday at Buck Owens’ Crystal Palace in Bakersfield, California, after missing a gig there on Monday night.
Details of the music legend’s illness have not been made public.
His publicist, Elaine Schock, said he plans to be back on the road again for a 16 February concert at a San Antonio rodeo.
It is the second time in recent weeks the On The Road Again songwriter has missed shows because of sickness.
He also scrapped two of his five shows in Las Vegas in late January because of a bad cold.
Nelson said he will release a new album this spring called God’s Problem Child, according to AP news agency.
